Come grow with us! Volunteers provide essential support for big events like the Annual Gala and seasonal Family Days. Volunteers are also key participants in everyday activities, such as shopkeeping, docent tours, and administrative tasks like mailings.
By joining our "family" of volunteers, you'll enjoy opportunities to share your special talents and skills, make new friends, and spend time doing meaningful work to support The Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farms. A variety of jobs, with flexible hours to accommodate busy schedules, are available.
Help with office work such as computer data entry, envelope stuffing, and filing. Help is needed on a weekly basis. Hours and type of work are flexible.
Help instructors of day camps, workshops, Girl Scout events, etc. Work one-on-one with children and help with set-up and clean-up. Teens are welcome.
Development, Fundraising, Special Events
Work on cultivation and fundraising events like the annual gala. Help sell program listings to local businesses.
General Educational Programming
Provide assistance for educational programs like lectures, special tours, and Family Days.
Give tours of The Stickley Museum to the general public and visiting groups. Training is provided. Docents interested in working with children are especially needed.

Our next course starts on THURSDAY, MARCH 26 at 6:30 p.m. (Five additional dates will be decided at the first session.)
This free docent training seminar will prepare potential docents to give tours of the Log House.
The first session is open to all prospective and existing volunteers, and gives a valuable overview of the museum and our operations.
Handle transactions, assist customers in front and behind the sales desk, help maintain inventory, and other miscellaneous shop duties.
