Dated August 14th 1917, this is an agreement between the Stickleys and Sylvia Farny for the purchase of Craftsman Farms for $60,000. Attached to the end of this bill, glued onto the cover sheet is a plan of the property, done somewhat informally, but initialed by Gustav and Eda Stickley. Curiously, the map includes the Log House, the twin cottages, and the White Cottage, but not any of the farm buildings or the older farmhouse. While this plan showed the general area of the property, the lack of detail on it may have been what compelled George Farny to have the property professionally surveyed, probably shortly after this sale was memorialized.
