Multimedia artist Cary Phillips creates some of the dreamiest floral designs for prints and textiles, and Nawal Motawi loves adapting them for ceramic tile.

Every Motawi tile is made by hand and with heart in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The tile is finished in a Dard Hunter Studios Oak Park frame made of quartersawn oak. Dard Hunter Studios was founded by early Roycrofter Dard Hunter and is currently run by his grandson, Dard Hunter III. The grain pattern of each framed tile varies.
