In 2013, we were delighted to announce the full restoration of four stone piers original to the Craftsman Farms landscape. Made possible through generous donations to the Save the Stone Piers campaign, the restoration project was completed just before the first winter snow. Now that spring is on the way, it’s time to celebrate the project’s completion with a special Stone Piers Dedication.


Set for Saturday, April 26 at 4:00 p.m., the Dedication will feature special guest historic landscape architect Brian Bosenberg, who supports the museum as an advisor on the Stickley-era landscape and oversaw the restoration of the stone piers. Bosenberg will provide a brief overview of the project.

 

A reception in the North Cottage will follow the Dedication.

Earlier this week, a ransomware attack was launched on the museum's office computer system. In a desire to be transparent, we are making you aware of this attack, which has devastated our administrative record-keeping. While this attack encrypted our office computers, servers, and back-ups, the nature of the information stored on those systems limits the potential exposure of sensitive information. In particular, donors should be aware that the museum does not store Personally Identifiable Information (PII), such as credit card numbers, on its office computer system or on any data storage device...
